If you’re here, you’re in the right place
Hi, I’m Sarah — a mama of two, wife, and full-time teacher with a heart for helping families find rest again.
I’ve been in the education field since graduating from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2018 with a degree in Business Management, and I’m also a certified EC–6 educator. My experience in the classroom has given me a strong foundation in child development and a deep understanding of how to support both children and the families who love them.
As a certified sleep consultant, I bring together my professional background and real-life experience as a mom to help families build healthy, sustainable sleep habits that truly work for their lifestyle.
I know how exhausting sleepless nights can be — and how overwhelming it can feel trying to navigate it all on your own. That’s why I’m so passionate about walking alongside families, offering guidance, reassurance, and practical support every step of the way.
Through Dove & Cradle, my goal is simple: to help you move from survival mode to a place of rest, confidence, and calm — because when your child sleeps well, everything feels lighter.
My Story
After having my first baby, I didn’t know much about infant sleep. We spent weeks just going with the flow, until I realized his days and nights were completely mixed up — we were up all night and sleeping during the day. I remember feeling overwhelmed and unsure of what to do.
That’s when I started learning more about baby sleep — and quickly realized how much there actually is to understand.
Once I began implementing healthy sleep foundations, everything changed. My son was sleeping through the night by four months old, and it was truly life-changing. Not just for my sleep, but for our entire home. Even during regressions or little hiccups, we had a foundation that made things feel manageable and predictable.
With my second, I felt more confident from the beginning. I focused on those same sleep foundations early on, and she was sleeping through the night by three months.
That’s when it really clicked for me — sleep isn’t just luck, and it’s not about doing things perfectly. It’s about having the right tools and understanding how to support your child.
As I walked through this with my own children, I found myself naturally helping friends and other moms who were struggling with sleep. I loved being able to support them and seeing the difference it made in their lives.
After my second, I knew this was something I wanted to pursue more intentionally. Because sleep is such a foundational part of a child’s development and a family’s well-being — and every parent deserves support in getting there.
My philosophy
I believe sleep is not one-size-fits-all. Every child and family is different, which is why I focus on sleep methods that fit your lifestyle and feel right for you. Sleep training can be approached in a way that feels gentle, supportive, and still leads to lasting results. My role is to guide and support you in finding an approach that feels aligned, sustainable, and right for your family.
